JP studied computer engineering and software design at the University of Illinois in Chicago, as an undergraduate. While there, he was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon and the chess team. Later, he enrolled in the UIC law school, where he graduated in June 2018 and was admitted to the Illinois bar later that year. He later earned an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
JP’s area of focus are appeals before the various county Boards of Review and before the Illinois Property Tax Appeal Board. He also coordinates our client’s tax incentive and exemption filings and has taken the lead in the design of certain software applications currently being built by the firm.
During his off time, he has successfully competed in numerous races, including the Chicago Marathon and is known to enjoy a round of golf.
